The firm's President and CEO, John J. Vento, is a former professor at St. Francis College, Department of Accounting and Business Law. Professor Vento is also a lecturer to the medical and dental profession. He has been the keynote speaker at various seminars and conferences which focused on the financial aspects of establishing a successful medical and/or dental practice. He has lectured through Lutheran Medical Center's resident teleconferencing training program throughout the United States, as well as Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. Mr. Vento holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration in Public Accounting and a Master Degree in Business Administration in Taxation. Mr. Vento is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of New York. He is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) and a member of the Certified Financial Planning Association. He also holds a Series 7, Stock Broker license and a Series 24, Security Principal license in the state of New York. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Vento brings with him his vast experience from working with KPMG, one of the Big Four Certified Public Accounting firms and his subsequent 20+ years of experience. Upon establishing his own firm in June of 1987, Mr. Vento has concentrated on servicing small to midsize businesses, professional practices (Physicians and Dentists) and high net worth individuals.
